ACUTE FORUM CLINICAL GOVERNANCE PARTNERSHIP BOARD LOCAL IMPLEMENTATION TEAM SERVICE USER STRATEGY TRUST BOARD MEETINGS To access the following information, please click on any of the links above.
USER REPRESENTATIONS The main discussion centres on a forthcoming government review of in-patient services. Meetings take place in the afternoon of the second Wednesday of every month. A large part of the meeting is devoted to consideration of serious incidents which have occurred at Chase Farm or St. Ann's. A regular item now on the agenda is a different set of NICE guidelines at each meeting. The Local Implementation Team has now merged with the Partnership Board. The sub-groups remain as before including Social Inclusion, Black and Minority Ethnic Group and Suicide Prevention. If anybody would like to represent EMU at any of these meetings, please contact Kate at the office. Financial problems at the Primary Care Trust mean that they are seeking to save on the funds they give to the hospital. Some core services have been reduced. At a strategic level, the Chairmanship has changed and the Local Implementation Team has now merged with the Board. This group has published a Service User Involvement Strategy. The Trust wishes service users to be involved in its work at a variety of levels including committees, training, monitoring, recruitment and research. Date of next meeting: Monday, at 2:00pm in Camlet 3, Chase Farm Hospital.
